Karel Pellemans is a partner at Borgen Tax, specializing in Dutch corporate income tax and international tax law. As a member of the firm’s M&A team, he advises (inter)national clients on transactions, cross-border tax structuring and the tax optimization of their companies and investments.

Karel has extensive experience supporting private equity firms, corporates and institutional investors throughout the full transaction lifecycle. His work includes tax due diligence, acquisition and divestment structuring, reorganizations and carve-outs, management participation structures, and post-deal integration. He also advises on Dutch corporate income tax matters, cross-border tax planning, investment monitoring and tax policy, as well as tax liability insurance and W&I solutions.

With a pragmatic and commercially driven approach, Karel combines strong technical expertise with a clear understanding of the broader strategic objectives of his clients.
