Susan Raaijmakers is a partner and heads the Real Estate team.

Susan’s focus is on Dutch and international corporate income tax, Dutch individual income tax, Real Estate Transfer Tax (RETT) and the confluence between VAT and RETT. She specializes in setting up partnerships for private and institutional investors in the Netherlands, Germany and the USA, and renders Dutch and international tax advisory and due diligence services to construction companies, real estate development companies and real estate funds. She has broad experience in structuring complex real estate projects, real estate transformation projects, joint ventures and investment structures, and regularly advises on real estate portfolio purchases and sales.

Susan is board member of the Dutch Tax Professionals Organization (NOB), and currently the chairperson of a prominent Real Estate Society in the Rotterdam area. She regularly lectures on VAT and RETT and speaks on these matters at conferences.
